타바란게와 트리니닷의 예수 선교회 시설 유적
(Jesuit Missions of La Santisima Trinidad de Parana and Jesus de Tavarangue)
* 파라과이 남부의 국경도시 엥카르나시온에서 가까운 곳에 1685년 건설한 타라반게에는 중앙 광장과 부근을 둘러싸고 있는 공공건물, 역시 미완성 상태인 예수회 성당의 기초와 외벽 유적과 1706년 세운 트리니다드에는 폐허화한 거주지와 성당, 인디오들이 섬세한 조각으로 장식해 놓은 돌벽이 여러 곳에 흩어져 있다. 17세기, 18세기 예수회의 리오 데 라 플래타 지역에 대한 기독교화를 나타내 주는 상징이며 당시 사회, 경제적 및 예술적 변화양상을 알려주는 유적.

* In addition to their artistic interest, these missions are a reminder of the Jesuits' Christianization of the Río de la Plata basin in the 17th and 18th centuries, with the accompanying social and economic initiatives.
